About Her

Who Am I?

Dr.Harshita Agrawal is an international medical graduate originally from Pune, India. She earned her medical degree from the Maharashtra University of Health & Science. She is an Indian Board-Certified Physician, currently engaged in community research to examine the socioeconomic factors affecting the health of the local population that Mayo Clinic serves, as well as breast cancer research at the stem cell & cancer biology lab of Mayo Clinic. Dr. Harshita is empathic toward underserved communities and is committed to improving their health. She has a particular interest in primary care and women’s health. She, therefore, pursued this interest by working in a rural primary care facility, where she not only provided patients with holistic care but also built relationships with people and promoted healthcare in remote places where residents were hesitant and lacked access to medical facilities. During the COVID epidemic, while working in a rural hospital, she established a specific COVID isolation center in collaboration with local authorities and SKNMC, which proved to be very useful at a critical moment. She continues to support philanthropic efforts in medicine through volunteering locally with organizations such as Ronald McDonald House and the Salvation Army. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking different dishes as well as going trekking and hiking.
